Columbiana County Career and Technical Center

College Credit Plus 

The CCCTC offers a two-year program to high school juniors and seniors. Twelve programs are offered that allow students to earn an industry-recognized credential. Students apply to the CCCTC sophomore year and must be on track for graduation to be eligible to attend. Click here to learn more.

Priority applications for sophomores applying to CCCTC are due April 1, 2022. Apply here.

  • CCCTC Tour: October 4, 2021
Sophomore Schedule
  • January 5, 2022: CCCTC presentation at DAHS for all sophomores 
  • January 11, 2022: Sophomore CCCTC visit 
    • CCCTC Visitation Selection 
  • Tuesday, February 22, 2022: Sophomore Visitation Make-up Day 
  • February: Tech Tuesdays - sophomores can visit CCCTC in one lab for a half day any Tuesday in February (See Mrs. Baker to schedule) 
  • Sophomore Showcase: Sophomores are invited to visit the CCCTC with one parent on the following evenings: 
    • Thursday, March 3, 2022 6-8 pm 
  • March: Parent Information Night at CCCTC
  • April 1: Priority applications are due.
Applications can be submitted after this date, but students will only be considered for those programs that are still open. ​
College Credit Plus is Ohio's dual credit program where students can earn high school and college credit at the same time. Students enroll in college courses and adhere to the requirements of the college. CCP is available for students in grades 7-12. 

A College Credit Plus Information Night will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 5:00 pm virtually. Representatives from Kent State University, Youngstown State University and Eastern Gateway Community College will be in attendance. This information night is required for any student that is interested in taking CCP classes next school year.

Steps to Participate:
1) 
Intent to Participate Form: Due April 1 for 2022-2023 school year
2) Complete university CCP application
3) Request Mrs. Baker to send transcript to the university
4) CCP Permission Form (Kent State) 
5) Complete orientation/schedule classes
6) Attend meetings with Mrs. Baker throughout the school year
